The origins of this superb mansion, can be traced back to the 14th century.

Previous owners has been the old Marrakchi family Belqaziz, who in 1950ies, split up the house and sold it as separate properties. It is now the private residence of the ex-German Ambassador to Morocco. Today the re-established and enlarged Riyad el Cadi consists of five interconnected houses, built around a central courtyard.

Le grand patio is the main building, decorated with Islamic objects and French colonial furniture.
The ideal place to rest in the shade of orange and lemon trees or under an old painted ceiling.

Riad El Cadi, with its numerous patios, staircases and halls, right in the heart of the Medina of Marrakech, is a perfect oasis of rest and tranquillity. Moroccan artefacts, an important collection of Berber costumes, many other objects of Islamic art and classical Asian furniture create an exceptional atmosphere.
