DAR MOUASSINE - DETAILS Ground FloorLarge entrance hall. Library. Small salon, furnished with cushions, with VCR and video library. Larger salon with fireplace and ornate wooden ceilings. Kitchen. Guest WC. Curcuma Room: access to this "secret" alcove is from the main terrace, then downstairs to a private entrance. Hand made sculpted ceiling, oriental style. Warm and exotic colours. Bathroom with shower with sand and violet tadelakt. Audio hi-fi. Badiane Suite: Opening onto the courtyard, and furnished in Indian style with silk/sari fabrics. There is a 4-poster double bed, a single bed, a sitting room/study, dressing room and a bathroom in polished Moroccan stucco ('tadelakt'). First Floor Cardamom Suite: Double bed, in the middle of the room, with Moroccan wooden screen separating the bathroom (again in 'tadelakt') behind it, and a small staircase leading to the WC and dressing room. Sitting room/study. Decorated in Arabian '1001 Nights' style. Cinnamon Suite: Large ornate Moroccan doors, opening to double bedroom with 4-poster bed. Sitting room/study, ornate fireplace (in 'tadelakt' and 'zellige'/mosaic tiles) and another Moroccan door opening to a large bathroom. Furnished in colonial style. Paprika Room: Double bedroom, with bed on a rostrum. Sitting room with fireplace. Shower room with WC, with Berber wooden ceiling (with exposed logs). Furnished in Berber style. Saffron Room: Twin bedroom (can be double bed), and can interconnect with Cardamom suite if required. Shower room and WC in 'tadelakt'. Furnished in art-deco style. Second Floor Sun terrace with showers and three sitting areas, one with fireplace, and a mezzanine level with views over the Palais Da Bacha, Koutoubra and the Atlas Mountains.

DOVE - Italy, April 2005 "Carol ed Erick, una coppia di giovani parigini, si sono innamorati alcuni anni fa del riad Mouassine, ottocentesco, nella parte nord della medina, a pochi passi dal suk dei tintori. Il risultato dell'accurato restauro è un piccolo gioiello con due patii attorno a un grande banano, vasca in pietra, su cui si affacciano il soggiorno arredato con divani Napoleone III, antiche foto del Marocco, e la biblioteca. Le sei camere hanno soffitti in legno decorato e intarsiato e finestre in stile andaluso."
