 Situated at the northern end of the medina in the Quartier Mouassine, now becoming a fashionable residential area of Marrakesh, this charming riad is just 5 minutes walk from the main square, Jemaa el Fna.Entrance to the property is into a central black and white tiled patio with palm trees and a fountain, surrounded by covered archways. There is also a private courtyard with a plunge pool (15 sq. metres). The ground floor bedroom opens to the patio, and the upstairs bedrooms to the arched balcony which extends around the patio at first floor level. On the roof top, there is a terrace with both sunny and shady seating areas. The bedrooms have ornate carved and painted wooden ceilings and have been furnished beautifully in a very individual style, with lovely silk cushions in vibrant colours. Each has a hi-fi and is provided with flowers, Moroccan pastries, incense and candles. The resident owners live in separate accommodation within the riad and are on hand for advice regarding shopping, restaurant reservations and local tours Accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis.
